The following programs focus on creating compassionate communities. Each is designed to give people the inspiration, resources, and connections to reach out to others in their local and global communities, putting their compassion into action.
Community Service Group Programs
Designed for Community Service groups already doing compassionate work or need assistance defining the groups’ goals for compassionate work.
You can now request a Global Harmony Institute Speaker or Facilitator to attend your meeting or event. The following presentations can be customized for your meeting, event, or conference:
Compassionate Leadership — what is it, and why it’s time has come.
Stepping Up To The Plate — Exploring why we have a hard time putting our compassion into action, why we should, and how to begin.
The Stakeholder Business — A new business model that mandates social responsibility, provides a return on investment to all stakeholders, and has the teeth to enforce it.
Aadi’s Gift — A children’s story and discussion designed to explore where compassion comes from and why it’s so important.

Community Discussion
A public forum to discuss a topic of importance to the community. Global issues such as violence, corporate greed, or media impact can be the focus, as well as issues of more local relevance to the group. Global Harmony Institute is interested in facilitating any dialog whose aim is creating more compassionate local or global communities.
Community Forum
A two-part workshop held within a close community group wherein we work to discover what issues are of importance to the group, and then work together to come up with action plans for creating local solutions. Our hope is that ongoing Care Circles will be formed to carry on the work and ideas that spring from this forum, creating a more compassionate world.
