We see a time when people move beyond thinking that having more will make them happy, to a point when we all realize that helping others is the key to feeling satisfied and good about our lives. When people discover this truth, and reach out, we can change the world. When enough of us realize this we will begin to expect compassionate wisdom of our leaders and progress will accelerate.
Will there be an end to world problems? Probably not, but we can learn to solve problems with wisdom and compassion. Will we someday be free from individuals who are motivated by hatred, and greed? Probably not, but we are evolving as a species and over the eons there has and will continue to be, progress toward the light.
Our biggest enemy is our inability to envision any other way than what has come before. The past provides few examples for us to model ourselves, and so many examples which suggest we are doomed to endless cycles of misery. At Global Harmony Institute we want to spotlight those examples that provide us hope and inspiration. We want to encourage wise and compassionate leadership. The more examples we all see the more we will believe it is possible, and the more we believe, and act on that belief, the closer we will get to global harmony.
